Häagen-Dazs Debuts Four Vegan Ice Creams

The ice cream company Häagen-Dazs has quietly introduced four non-dairy ice cream flavors to market!

Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, and Mocha Chocolate Cookie flavors have all been spotted in the United States and have been added to the brand’s website as well.

Coconut Caramel is made primarily with coconut cream and sugar,  Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle is made with a Belgian chocolate base and contains soy.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge flavor is made from ingredients including corn syrup, sugar, and peanuts and is soy, almonds, and cashew-free and the Mocha Chocolate Cookie flavor is made with the same nut-free chocolate base and contains wheat (the other flavors are gluten-free).

Häagen-Dazs’ entry into the non-dairy market follows the lead of other big-name brands including Ben & Jerry’s and Breyers which introduced almond milk-based flavors to test markets earlier this year.

Obviously, vegans are starting to influence the marketplace and it is extremely satisfying to see what happens!
