5 Vegan toast ideas

So there you are!

Number #5

Super simple yet so delicious! Who know buttery mushrooms, kale, onion, and tahini on a walnut bread. He is on to something really cool here.

Number #4

Blue lavender lemon yogurt on sourdough bread with blueberries, banana, avo and cashews. 💙 Such a special and tasty combo, especially loved the homemade coconut yogurt flavoured with lavender from the garden. Normally I'm not the biggest fan of it because the taste is very strong but together with lemon it was just amazing. Do you have any recipes with lavender that you love? Let me know! 😎 Wishing you a lovely day. Here is a delicious functional fuel idea for you! This toast snack of peanut butter, blackberries, and crushed raspberries on whole grain bread not only tastes like a PB&J winner, this combo also is a great way to get more iron! 💪🏾 The plant based sources of iron in the peanut butter and whole grain bread are hard for our bodies to fully absorb. But, the vitamin C in the berries actually helps us absorb more iron! 🍓🥜 Iron plays a key part in moving oxygen to muscles for optimal function during activity. Therefore, adequate iron levels are important to maintain to compete at your best. People at risk for low iron largely tend to be those who avoid meats, females, and those at higher altitudes. 🏔 You can focus on getting enough iron in your diet through meats and/or paring plant based iron sources with vitamin C rich foods to enhance absorption. Also, try to avoid lots of calcium rich foods (mostly dairy) in the same meal, as calcium can decrease the amount of iron you are able to absorb. 🙅🏽‍♂️🧀 Use food to your competitive advantage by fueling with purpose today and everyday! 🏃🏻‍♀️👊🏽⚽️🏊🏽‍♀️🏒⚾️🏋🏼

Well, this puts anything we make to shame. @mynuttydelights’ indecision led to this gorgeous pile-up of strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, granola, coconut yogurt, grapes, hazelnuts, peanut butter, jam, chia seeds, and cacao nibs, and we’re not afraid to admit that this is so impressive!
